A New Chapter (and brand) For Sauna Water
When we launched Sauna Water back in 2023 alongside our friends at Cedar & Stone Sauna, we never could’ve imagined what this would grow into today. Three years of support from our communities, and we're officially jumping from our little Dry January collaboration into a dedicated company, brand, and product strategy for Sauna Water. Our mission to connect sauna culture with our curiosity for building elevated beverages has only deepened - and we’re excited to announce the official Sauna Water rebrand.
For Our Need To Be Nature
The ritual of sauna started this all and continues to unlock our ability to better connect with nature, wellness, and community. Through hot and cold, we unlock our truer potential - accessing physical, mental, and emotional tools that we never knew existed, improving our daily lives. Sauna Water is a culmination of our thermic practice and creative process, all of which help us stay in rhythm with our need to be nature.
This Sauna Water rebrand isn't just about a new mark or chasing market share, but building a community around sauna culture and thoughtful wellness beverages. This is about helping people disconnect from the stress and chaos, and turning hydration into moments of presence.
New Beverages, Same Roots
With our rebrand comes two new product offerings, and an electrolyte feature for all of our beverages that expands our flavor profile range while staying true to our botanical foundation.
Forest Fields brings together the earthiness of chamomile, ginger, and sumac with the bright juiciness of blood orange. It's inspired by the prairies of the Midwest, leading with a floral character, subtle minerality, and something that's both relaxing yet unexpected.
Superior Coast captures Minnesota's North Shore. We've worked with sage, juniper needles, and pine needles to evoke that coastal aroma, followed by bright lime citrus and smoked sea salt to enhance mouthfeel and hydration benefits.
These new beverages join Nordic Spruce, our original recipe that started everything, with a gin-like profile featuring aromatic notes of spruce, cardamom, juniper berries, and lemon.
Why Now?
Thursday marks the start of 2026, Dry January, and the three year anniversary of Sauna Water. We hope this new chapter inspires us all to look inward, find inspiration, and find a practice (like sauna) that helps us reconnect with our need to be nature.
Sauna Water isn't a sports drink. Sauna Water isn’t trying to optimize your performance. Sauna Water is here to help you recover and reconnect through the thermic cycle. Take more steps away from the stress and chaos in 2026, and bring more presence to your hydration.
Newly rebranded Sauna Water cans are only available via our website, with cans being delivered to retail partners throughout the month of January.
