Sauna Water in The New York Times

Some news we're still soaking in: Sauna Water was featured in The New York Times.

In "Juniper Lattes? Pine Sodas? Food Is Taking Us Back to the Forest," food reporter Kim Severson looks at why pine, juniper, and other botanicals are turning up in everything from lattes to cocktails to ice cream. The people she interviewed say that in an anxious, overstimulated time, consumers are reaching for products that taste like a walk in the woods.

Nordic Spruce is pictured in the story, with a caption noting that "woodsy flavors from companies like Sauna Water in Minnesota are gaining traction."

We've been brewing Sauna Water with whole botanicals since day one to celebrate the sense of place that walking through places like Minnesota's North Woods evokes. We're grateful to see others turning their attention toward living in rhythm with nature.

Thank you to everyone who has stocked and shared our products.
